Ten seconds at a time. Twelve short clips, twelve different looks, all from real shoots, stabilized and colour graded in-house. Tap any clip to watch it large with sound.

How we work

Our system (8)

Every shoot runs the same eight stages, in the same order. The numbers below are read straight off the drive from three shoots this fall.

  1. 01

    SD backup

Every card copied and SHA-256 checked, file by file.

  2. 02

    Transfer

Working copies sorted into bins: interview, B-roll, establishing, detail.

  3. 03

    Gyroflow

Every clip stabilized and measured. It stays only if it's steadier on screen.

  4. 04

    DaVinci edit

One project per shoot: bins, stringouts, pacing, then the cut.

  5. 05

    Grading

De-log, one creative look, one depth curve. That order on every clip.

  6. 06

    SFX + sound

Music bed and designed sound, mixed to −14 LUFS. Nothing ships silent.

  7. 07

    QC

Frames pulled and checked on every version before you see it.

  8. 08

    Export

A review copy for your phone first. Full-res masters follow.

Your memories are yours.

We edit from copies and never alter the camera files, and nothing from your shoot goes public until you say so. The day your files are delivered, we wipe your footage from our drives, unless you ask us to keep it. We're just here to curate an atmosphere around your business.

Folders on the drive, by shoot

Camera files are copied, never moved. Each shoot has an untouched card backup, a set of Gyroflow renders, and its own working folders. Client shoots get wiped after delivery. The shoots listed here are our own or still in progress. Paths start at the top of the drive.

Every clip

ClipCamera timeLengthTypeVerdictGyro checkSettingShake removedZoomVersion to editSize
Loading the clip list…

Pass: at least 75% of shake removed inside 125% zoom. Flag: heavy motion, under 75% but still steadier, so the render is used and the flag stays visible. Keep original: the camera's own stabilization looked steadier, so the edit uses the original. Times are the camera clock.

About me

One pair of hands. The whole film.

Aynen
DirectorCameraEditorLangaraEmily CarrUBC

I'm Aynen, the director, camera and editor behind Aynen Media Agency. No roster, no hand-offs, no account managers. The person you talk to is the person who shows up and ships the film.

I started early, and I started paid. A high-school photography business banked $5,000 in bookings before graduation, and nights in concert photo pits taught me to land the shot in bad light and worse crowds. After that came a Film Arts intensive certificate at Langara College, film and screen arts at Emily Carr University, and film coursework at UBC.

The training paid off in rooms that check credentials at the door: runway coverage at Vancouver Fashion Week, the media team at the Vancouver Asian Film Festival, accredited press at the Vancouver Horror Show.

When you book Aynen Media Agency, you don't rent a crew. You plug into a practice that's already in motion, and your project ships with it.

The rig

One rig. Cinema glass. No rental roulette.

Sony FX3 Cinema Line with the Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 lens, seen from above

Sony FX3 Cinema Line + Sigma 28-45mm f/1.8 DG DN

The main rig. A full-frame cinema body and a constant f/1.8 from 28 to 45mm, so dark rooms, receptions and stages stay clean without a lighting truck. Everything below is owned and in the bag, and it's the exact gear that shows up on your shoot day.

About $400 saved, per shoot day.

That's what the core of this kit rents for in Canada: body, zoom, anamorphic prime, cine prime and batteries. It's all owned and already in the bag, so there's no rental roulette.

Prices checked Nov 4, 2026, in CAD before tax unless marked. First-day rental rates. Where no shop rents the exact piece, the closest equivalent is named.
